What Type of Breast Augmentation Surgery is Used for Rapid Recovery?
The breast augmentation techniques used in rapid recovery procedures are essentially the same as standard operations but with the differences described above. Since each patient is different, there are multiple methods of augmentation that may be used. Very often, an extremely small incision in the areola is used to place an implant. Incisions in the crease just beneath the breast, called inframammary incisions, are another option. In these cases, the lower part of the breast typically covers the scar. Other methods of breast augmentation may also be employed. For more details, see our breast augmentation page.
