How Does Blepharoplasty Work?

Once a surgery with Dr. J is completed, patients are taken to the recovery area of his Platinum Surgical Center. However, since the procedure involves both local anesthesia and sedation, it will be necessary to arrange for a friend or family member to drive you home as well as to have someone stay with you the first night after the surgery.
What to Expect During Recovery
Before you leave our center, Dr. J will provide prescriptions, particularly antibiotics to prevent infection as well as other medications to reduce discomfort and speed healing. You will also be given detailed instructions on what to do during your recovery to ensure the best outcomes.
You may experience some minor temporary symptoms following blepharoplasty.
